Grant Description
Grants to USA nonprofit organizations for youth services and programs in communities in which the funding source has a business presence. Funding is intended to support organizations that empower, educate, and feed local youth. Eligible organizations must be located or serve a population located within 50 miles of a Jack in the Box restaurant to be eligible for grant funding.

Franchise operators and restaurants are passionate about investing locally by working with high impact, youth-focused organizations. Through Jack’s Community Grants, we support nonprofits who feed, educate, and empower youth in our restaurant communities.

Through funding local grants in restaurant communities, the Foundation wants to help youth challenge barriers holding them back and pursue what inspires them to live life to the fullest, on their own terms.

The Foundation will make the following types of grants:

  • General Operating Support
  • Project or Program-Specific Support
  • Capacity Building Support: funding the expansion of core organization skills and capabilities, such as leadership, fundraising, and management
  • Seed or Innovation Support: providing start-up funds for a new organization or program, including those that experiment with new solutions to social problems
  • Capital Grant Support: to fund the purchase or construction of a building, land, or major equipment (Please note: There must be an existing relationship to apply for capital funding).

Additional Eligibility Criteria
501(c)(3) non-profit organizations who feed, educate, and empower youth in restaurant communities are invited to apply for funding.

Applications that include a letter of support from a Jack in the Box franchisee and/or employee will receive special consideration.
