Grant Description
Grants of $1,500 to USA high schools serving low-income families to develop community service programs for students. Funding is intended to cover compensation for staff supervision. The purpose of the program is to foster compassion, empathy, and citizenship in participating students.

This Grant compensates a member of a school’s education staff chosen as the Pathways Club leader. Through community service activities, public recognition and service awards, a student Pathways Club nurtures empathy, compassion and mannerly citizenship in the students with unrecognized potential.

Grant information:

  • Schools that establish a successful Pathways Club will receive priority consideration for sustaining Grants in future years.
  • A Pathways Club must consist of a minimum of 6 and a maximum of 12 deserving students.
  • A student’s participation in a Pathways Club is voluntary.
  • Schools identify the deserving students for Club membership through a process led by the school principal.


Additional Eligibility Criteria
The annual High School Pathways Club Grant is available to eligible high schools, nationwide.

Eligible high schools meet and/or exceed the 40% low income eligibility requirements for student populations as utilized by the federal government ESEA guidelines.

Pre-Application Information
Grant Requests are accepted between August 15th and December 15th of each year.
