Grants to Arizona nonprofit organizations to benefit local families and children. Funding is available for programs and support in the areas of education, health and human services, and sports and recreation. The Funding Source's mission is to make the community a better place through its mission of supporting children and family services throughout Arizona

Local nonprofit organizations are encouraged to apply for funding by submitting an engaging 90-second video to demonstrate how they are improving the lives of Arizonans. PSC is choosing to invest in a mission rather than a specific project. Funds are unrestricted and can support both missions and programs to make a positive impact throughout Arizona.

Estimated Size of Grant:

Grants will range from $2,500 to $15,000.

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

Eligible applicants:
- Arizona 501(c)(3) organizations that operate with fiscal accountability and responsibility.
- Organization has been an established 501(c)(3) for at least 3 years.
- Funding cannot be used for a summer camp. Phoenix Suns Charities is a collaborative funder for the Summer Youth Program Fund which sole funds summer camps. To learn more about applying for summer camp funding, please visit
- Funding must be used to serve only residents within the Arizona geographic boundaries.
- Phoenix Suns Charities does not sponsor tables or events.
- Organization must have a complete and visible profile on ACF’s website:
- Organizations without a complete organizational profile by the application due date will be declined.
- Organization must demonstrate a non-discrimination policy regarding staff, employment, governing board and service based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, disability or national origin, and provide evidence of the policy.
- Organization must serve children/youth 18 years of age and under or families.
- Phoenix Suns Charities will accept one grant submission per 501c3 (A submission includes
the application narrative and a video submission). Applicant organization must benefit and support children and families in Arizona.

Pre-Application Information:

Applications and video submissions are due by 5:00 PM on May 29, 2020.

Grant awards and decline letters out in November 2020.

Please contact ACF staff to discuss any part of the grant application process. Due to the high volume of calls and inquires as the deadline nears, organizations are encouraged to contact staff well in advance of the deadline with any questions! During the last week of any grant cycle’s duration, you will likely have limited access to ACF technical support.
